Frequently asked questions
Is this email extractor really free?
Yes. There's no signup, no usage limit, and no paid tier. It's free to use as much as you'd like.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing you paste or upload is sent to a server. You can open your browser's network tab while using the tool to confirm this yourself.
What file types can I upload?
Plain text (.txt) and CSV (.csv) files. You can also just paste text directly into the box, or drag a file onto it.
Does it remove duplicate email addresses?
Yes. Every extracted address is deduplicated, ignoring capital letters, so the same email appearing multiple times in your text only shows up once in the results.
Is there a limit on how much text I can paste?
No hard limit. Everything runs locally in your browser, so it's bound only by your device's memory rather than a server-side quota. It handles lists of 500,000+ emails.
Can I export the results?
Yes. Download all extracted addresses as a .txt or CSV file, or copy the full list to your clipboard.
Can I separate or group the emails?
Yes. Choose a new line, comma, semicolon, pipe or your own separator, group the list into batches (for example every 500 emails), sort it A to Z, or keep only domains you choose, such as gmail.
100% client-side. This tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste or upload is sent anywhere. Open your browser's network tab and see for yourself.
